Christmas Love

This Christmas was magical. Michael and I made sure to take time just for each other this year. We had our celebration on Christmas eve and then three more on Christmas day between our families. We're lucky to have so many people who love us.

We also didn't buy a scrap of wrapping paper this year,  which I'm quite proud of. That stuff is expensive and it just gets ripped up. What a waste. The local university discards outdated maps and booklets on a regular basis. Add a little ribbon or twine and you have yourself quite the pretty package.

I hope your Christmas was wonderful.

The Graduate

Michael is officially an alumnus! There were about 1300 people who graduated from MSU this semester but I think I found the cutest.

After the ceremony we hosted a small party at our house for family. We worked hard making lots of homemade goodies and I really wanted to snap a few photos of the spread. Fortunately or un, the treats were so yummy, they were gone before I had the chance.

Couldn't have been a better day.

Now and Then

Mr. and I decided to buy ourselves a camera as an early Christmas present. It's perfect for capturing the little things here and there that I don't want to waste film on. Here are a some photos from the last few weeks.

Mr. put up Christmas lights. He's afraid of heights.

Cold weather crafting.

First snow of the season. Griz enjoyed it.
